It only takes about 20 months. At the starting line, 20 months feels like a marathon. At the finish line, it feels like a sprint. As my farewell to the School of Business, I have some parting thoughts to share:
A few months ago, I began the daunting process of job searching, and now I’m excited to announce my search is over. And here’s the thing: This opportunity didn’t come from a job board or an online application. It all started with an informational interview.
I hadn’t really given much thought to what it specifically meant to be a woman in business until I started the MBA program at PSU.
The decision to get my MBA was (what I thought would be) a natural progression from accounting to finance. I chose The Portland MBA program for two reasons: 1) its connection to the city I loved; and 2) its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
