Once I decided to pursue the The Portland MBA and committed myself to the process, I’ve been amazed at how much I’ve been able to change in my own life simply by deciding that it was time to make a change. Understanding how I was selling myself short has inspired me to do a lot more than I have before.
It only takes about 20 months. At the starting line, 20 months feels like a marathon. At the finish line, it feels like a sprint. As my farewell to the School of Business, I have some parting thoughts to share:
A few months ago, I began the daunting process of job searching, and now I’m excited to announce my search is over. And here’s the thing: This opportunity didn’t come from a job board or an online application. It all started with an informational interview.
The first question someone asks when they learn I’m going to graduate school and working full time is: How do you do it? Good question. I’m now in my second year of school and just beginning to understand how.
