The Capstone project is the culmination of all the learning developed throughout The Portland MBA, and it can serve as an important stepping stone in career preparedness and advancement. The work Desmarais describes in this interview is exemplary.
Her MBA has especially helped Greenberg navigate program development. “There has been a certain amount of building something, seeing how it goes, pivoting, and going with the flow in this uncertain circumstance that has led to a better product in the same way that innovation does,” she says. “The pace of information flow, the kind of information flow. We are always rolling with it.”
“One of the things I’ve discovered about being in the U.S. mecca for coffee is that all the roasters in this town know each other,” says Tim. “We want to foster that. We want to buy from local reps and farms whenever possible.”
