We look at admissions as the art of determining a candidate’s readiness to succeed and be transformed by our programs. We have learned through experience time and again that numbers are not the whole story. We know that if we had not allowed candidates to tell us their story in their application, we may have missed out on some of our best community members.
Through my cohort, international experience, events and guest speakers, Portland State University has introduced me to a lot of people I would not have met otherwise. Some of these people have helped me discover career possibilities that I did not know existed.
Once I decided to pursue the The Portland MBA and committed myself to the process, I’ve been amazed at how much I’ve been able to change in my own life simply by deciding that it was time to make a change. Understanding how I was selling myself short has inspired me to do a lot more than I have before.
Their development plan focused on a proposal for Merlino Properties' 5th and Bell site, also known as Bell V, a mixed-use hotel and multifamily building located in Belltown, a downtown Seattle neighborhood.
