Since blockchain’s inception, it has mostly been studied through the lens of systems architecture. Yuthas founded the Business Blockchain Certificate at PSU in 2019 after noticing that blockchain was starting to be taught to computer science students but not to business students. The certificate is one of the first for-credit blockchain programs in the world.
At a place like The School of Business at PSU, it allows us to stay current and agile with our stakeholders’ ever changing needs and redefine how student development can serve communities in a more meaningful way.
I am inspired by the growth I have seen in people when they are properly trained, challenged and given the trust and freedom to do their job.
Redefining business means never being satisfied with any aspect of your business, always looking for new competitive edges anywhere you can find them, and identifying gaps in the marketplace and offering unique solutions that fill them.
