Dr. Julia Freybote, assistant professor of finance and real estate, was drawn to real estate research because of how it can be applied to so many people and industries. She has focused on a variety of topics throughout her career, but the unifying theme is extreme conditions and their effect on real estate prices.

On June 14, 2020, The School of Business held its first remote commencement. The ceremony served to celebrate the outstanding achievements of over 200 students and to empower these new graduates to serve as leaders during this unmatched period of economic and social disruption.
The Master of Real Estate Development was the opportunity for Volbeda to learn about the rich mixture of construction, development, business, finance and public policy.
