Their development plan focused on a proposal for Merlino Properties' 5th and Bell site, also known as Bell V, a mixed-use hotel and multifamily building located in Belltown, a downtown Seattle neighborhood.

"One great thing you get from the program is a broad overview of the different aspects of development, says Heredia. "I work in a group where each individual has a more specialized area. Having this broad overview allowed me to jump in and be able to provide assistance to each individual."

Career advancement is not the only thing that has come out of the program for Liz Hutchinson. “I made a lot of connections that I still value today. I also stay in touch with people who are currently in the program and are looking for new opportunities.”
