The School of Business has been developing strong partnerships in Portland's business community for over 50 years, and when the coronavirus pandemic started to impact local companies, alums of The Portland MBA formed a pro bono consulting firm called The Portland Business Support Project (PBSP).

Here are seven Black and POC-owned coffee shops to support now — order takeout, buy beans or pick up gift cards to use later. Soon we will be able to come together over hot cups of coffee to share ideas and take action to redefine business and transform lives.

As a queer woman, it was important for me to find affinity and support the voices of my community at The School of Business.
