Need last-minute stocking stuffers? We’ve got a few ideas to help you cross a name off your list, plus you’ll be supporting businesses owned by PSU business alumni!
For the coffee lovers:
Blind Coffee Roasters (Holly Howard ’16)
Blind Coffee Roasters offer a wide range of single-origin and specialty blends of coffee. And they give back — $5 per pound of select custom blends are donated to some of their favorite charities.
If you’re in the Portland metro region, they’ll deliver the coffee to you for free until Dec. 23.
For the eco-minded:
Way of Being (Alex Gamboa Grand MBA’16)
Way of Being (formerly Good Intent) offers low-waste and sustainably made alternatives for the things we use everyday — from toothbrushes and shampoo to dish brushes and laundry detergent. If you need some suggestions, they have lists for stocking sized gifts and gifts under $10.
You can stop by their store on the second floor of Lloyd Center (across from H&M), open this week Wednesday and Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
For the plant enthusiasts:
Stingray Botanicals (Luna Robuck MBA’19)
Houseplants make for great gifts and Stingray Botanicals — Oregon’s first houseplant shop to become a certified and registered Benefit Company — should be your go-to spot if you’re in the Eugene area. They carry a wide variety of houseplants along with thoughtfully curated artisanal goods. E-gift cards are available, too.
